I do not care what you do with my hair fairy hair
My mums made me sit in this hairdressers chair
I’m not happy to be here so you’d better beware
Though you smile at me kindly I’ll sit here and glare.
‘Cos I do not care what you do with my hair.

I do not care what you do with my hair
You can trim it and twist it and thin it out there
You can make it a triangle, circle or square
You can dye it a rainbow, sculpt it like a fun fair
But I do not care what you do with my hair!

I do not care what you do with my hair
Cut it round like an apple, or orange or pear
Fluff it up so it looks like a sweet teddy bear
Make some ears so I look like a mad March hare
I just do not care what you do with my hair.

I do not care what you do with my hair
I know I’ve some problems with wear and tear
My approach to it’s always been laissez-faire
And is that a fork stuck in that bit there?
Oh I do not care what you do with my hair.

I do not care what you do with my hair
But the truth is that people are starting to stare
As a bird made a nest in the middle somewhere
Yes I’m starting to feel that my locks need repair
Still I do not care what you do with my hair.

I do not care what you do with my hair
It’s hard to imagine the birds nest was there
But the difference is massive I do declare
I now look as good as a millionaire
I’m so glad that you care what you do with my hair!

    I had a haircut today!

I definitely care what you do with my hair
Please don’t gel it or creem it or I may despair
Speckles of grey don’t mention beware
You may trim my sideburns because my wife will care
But I certainly care what you do with my hair
